As we all know the first apple was appear a long time ago, in fact the first time a fruit was mentioned was in a bible. The exact place where apple trees first appeared is still not known, some people thought it was to be near the area between the Black and Caspian Seas. The ancient Greeks were growing several varieties of apples by the late 300's BC and the ancient Romans also grew and loved this fruit. Researchers have even found the charred remains of apples at a Stone Age village in Switzerland.
But, there is still a question remains, how did this fruit ever get into the North America. Some claimed that early settlers to North America brough apple seeds and apple trees with them. Records confirmed that apples were grown in New England as early as 1630s. In 1796, in Ontario, Canada, John McIntosh discovered a variety of apple which is today enjoyed by people around the world. Was it a coincidence with The Macintosh Computers? Who knows?
